Year 6 Leavers 2021 – Fundraising

Heathlands school community prides itself on giving our Year 6’s a stylish send-off to mark the end of their primary school journey. This has only been made possible over the years through the kindness and generosity of the many parent volunteers, the support of our wonderful school and PTA, the engagement of local community projects – and the children themselves!

We are very proud of what we have achieved in recent years so let’s make 2021 even better! We will ensure to post pictures of the final event on our gallery!

If you would like to contribute to this fund in another way or want to know more about getting involved behind the scenes please do not hesitate to contact us on the email above.

Y6L 'Yes Day' Update (by Connie in 6H)

On Friday the 21st of May, some of the Year 6 prefects held a ‘Teacher Yes Day’ to help fundraise for the leavers’ party. Mr Hassard and Mr Turver agreed to say yes to a request from each child! There were loads of ideas, from playing battle ships to watching “try not to laugh” videos!

In 6H, Ellie-Violet was allowed to sit in Mr Hassard’s chair, Max put together a short music playlist for the class to listen to, Jemima was allowed to draw on the board and Elena was teacher for half the afternoon!

In 6T, they watched Matilda (the film), had PE but with Kelsey teaching, ate doughnuts bought by Elsie and Imogen did Mr Turver’s makeup!

Overall, it was an amazing day and a great way to let loose before our school residential to Aylmerton.

Total Raised: £61.30

Well done everyone!

Thank you for taking part in Pyjama Day!

We raised a amazing total of £412.74.

We will split this equally with the PTA.

It’s not too late to still donate your Pyjama Day money here 🙂
